Mercury Technology Solution Signs with CW Business Services to Bring Tax-First Bookkeeping Automation to the CW CPA Group
Hong Kong technology company and the CW CPA group’s business-services subsidiary will collaborate on SME bookkeeping, document intake and cross-border practice workflows across Asia-Pacific and Latin America.
HONG KONG, 4 September 2026 — Mercury Technology Solution Limited (“Mercury”) today announced that it has signed a collaboration agreement with CW Business Services Limited (華德企業服務有限公司), a subsidiary of the CW CPA group, to apply Mercury’s tax-first bookkeeping automation and a Forward Deployed Engineer programme to the firm’s SME and cross-border client work.
The contracting party is CW Business Services, the CW CPA group’s business-services company. The arrangement is held at the group’s non-audit vehicle so that CW CPA’s audit and assurance practice remains independent.
CW CPA, founded by Thomas Wong (黃華燊) and Rosanna Choi (蔡懿德), is a Hong Kong professional advisory and certified public accountants firm. It provides accounting and financial reporting, audit and assurance, tax advisory, corporate secretarial, HR process outsourcing and China consulting. The firm operates offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Shanghai, with liaison desks in London, Barcelona, Bogotá, Belo Horizonte and São Paulo, and a Latin Department that advises Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking clients on Greater China market entry. CW means “Connect World”.
Under the agreement, Mercury will assign a Forward Deployed Engineer to sit with nominated CW desks, observe live work, and identify the applications that would most improve practice economics, client service and cross-border delivery. Mercury’s SME bookkeeping automation platform — which ingests Excel workbooks, receipt images and bank statements, reconciles the three sources, posts double-entry journals, and applies Hong Kong, Macau and Japan tax rules at the point of entry — may be offered where it fits a discovered need. Further builds will proceed only under separate statements of work.
The collaboration is non-exclusive and practice-led. It does not create a joint venture, agency or partnership. Software will be designed as practitioner support and client self-service, not as a substitute for professional judgement, an audit opinion, or a tax filing.
